Jaume Alguersuari Escudero was born March 23, 1990 in Barcelona, is a spanish racing driver who became the youngest formula 1 driver in history at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix. Alguersuari is the first, and currently the only, driver to be born in the 1990s to compete in formula one.
Alguersuari took over the role of reserve driver for the red bull racing and scuderia tora rosso formula one teams from fellow Red Bull Junior driver Hartley in the second half of the 2009 formula one season.
